Dele Alli hit the headlines on Wednesday night with a match- winning brace against Premier League leaders, Chelsea.
The England midfielder guided two headers past Thibaut Courtois to hand the Blues their first defeat since they were knocked out of the League Cup in October.
Alli has now scored six goals in his last three league games, taking his total to 10 for the season. He may only be 20 but the former MK Dons man is driving Spurs forward this season.
Despite his stunning form, Alli is still behind Harry Kane in terms of his attacking contribution. Kane's combined 10 goals and two assists leave him one ahead of Alli.
On the other side of north London, Alexis Sanchez is carrying Arsenal, averaging a goal or assist for every Premier League game he has played.
But not every team's MVP is as obvious as Arsenal's. Crystal Palace spent £27million on Christian Benteke this summer, but the Belgian's contribution falls behind one of the club's academy graduates. And Joe Allen, who managed just three goals for Liverpool during the whole of last season, is leading the way at Stoke with five goals and two assists.
