Why would you do it, Juventus? WHY, DAMN YOU?
There was nothing wrong with your existing club badge. Not only was there nothing wrong with it… it was a thing of beauty.
It had the classic black and white stripes - the colours every football fan in the world immediately associates with your club (sorry, Newcastle, but it's true). It had the iconic bull (the symbol of Turin) and a streak of gold. It even had your name in big, bold letters.
Lovely, right? Something that instantly screams class, history and European pedigree, right?
Now look at this new club logo - unveiled by the Serie A giants in a lavish ceremony - and prepare to weep for the state of modern football.
This slick, corporate bit of 'branding' is now the visual representation of the most famous football team in Italy.
We could quite easily write 1,000 words right now on how and why this monstrosity perfectly sums up everything that is wrong with the game today.
However, luckily for you, the good/angry people of Twitter have found a far more entertaining means of showing their disgust with this badge change.
Open up photoshop… and let rip:
Outstanding work, people.
