Many people around the world have a fear of flying at the best of times.
But those of a superstitious nature were best to stay away from one particular flight today.
A Finnair plane to HEL with a flight number 666 travelled on Friday the 13. The aircraft is also believed to be 13-years-old.
Flight AY666 took off from Copenhagen to Helsinki - which has the airport baggage code of HEL - shortly after 12.15pm UK time.
Thankfully, despite the eerie superstitions surrounding the flight, it landed safely with no problems.
The flight has become something of a joke among pilots whenever it has to fly on Friday 13.
Pilot Juha-Pekka Keidasto told RT recently: "It has been quite a joke among the pilots… It's only a coincidence for me.
“If there's some passenger who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always happy to help them.”
The number 666 has long been avoided by superstitious people and has been used as a means of fear in horror films.
It is also The Number of the Beast in the New Testament.
Friday 13 has long been associated as being an unlucky day among western countries.
