They just started following each other last week, and now it looks as though Perrie Edwards has gone public with her new boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Sharing a picture from inside her home after dinner, Perrie took a sweet snap of the Gunners star as he sat next to their dogs at the dinner table.
Perrie's Pomeranian and Alex's pooch looked cosy together on one seat, while Alex happily chatted across the dinner table.
The picture comes as Perrie Edwards looked smitten when pictured with her Arsenal star boyfriend on a low-key date, but she does not want to be known as a WAG.
The Secret Love Song star, who reportedly started dating the footballer last November, has made several trips to cheer on her beau as he played for Arsenal but is keen to avoid the label.
“Perrie wants to keep her love life private and also doesn’t want to be regarded as a stereotypical football WAG,” a source told The Sun.
“It’s early days and they’re still getting to know each other. Alex fully supports her as he too wants to be known as a footballer, not dating a pop star.”
Last week, Perrie sent fans into a frenzy by appearing to subtly confirm her romance with the footballer.
The Black Magic singer’s decision to follow Arsenal player, Alex on Instagram didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed Mixers, who took it as confirmation the pair are dating.
Perrie, 23, is pretty selective about who she follows on Instagram, with only 80 people listed on her account, so it wasn’t too difficult for fans to discover Alex was the latest addition.
The pair were first linked back in November but neither has publicly commented on rumours of a blossoming relationship.
However, a source recently revealed things were going really well between them and Perrie had even gifted her family lots of Arsenal merchandise over Christmas to show her support for the football star.
The insider said: "Things are hotting up between the pair - they love spending time with each other and make each other laugh a lot."
Alex, meanwhile, has proved just as supportive of Perrie's career, being seen in the audience at the X Factor finale in December, when Little Mix performed.
A source told The Sun: “He didn’t take his eyes off her throughout the entire thing and he didn’t stop smiling. Afterwards, he took pictures with fans and took time to chat to people in the audience, he seems like a genuinely nice man.”
Perrie’s reluctance to speak publicly about her new romance may be due to how previous high profile relationships played out in the public eye.
She was engaged to former One Direction star, Zayn Malik until he broke things off in 2015, with Perrie claiming he ended their engagement via text message.
“It was horrible, the worst time in my life. A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that," she wrote in Little Mix's book, Our World.
“Even though things in my career were going really well, it was incredibly difficult for me.”
The popstar went on to date Our Girl actor, Luke Pasqualino but that romance fizzled out in October last year, with claims they were lacking a "spark" between them.
"Both are keen to keep the relationship on the down low, they don't follow each other on social media as they know a connection might give the game away," said a source.
"After what happened with Zayn, Perrie doesn't want her love life to become public knowledge."
