The 24-year-old footballer showed off his footwork, body strength and passion in Sporting's 2-0 win over Porto
Because it's safe to say his debut for Sporting got off to a flyer-All right, the 24-year-old didn't get on the score sheet for the Lisbon-based side as they beat league rivals Porto 2-0 on Sunday.
But in the image above, he demonstrated exactly the kind of thing he has in his locker with some impressive footwork, body strength and passion.
The image, which Sporting proudly uploaded to Twitter, shows the Costa Rican striker sliding to keep a ball in on the touchline and later holding off two defenders with ease.
He later dribbles the ball around them before linking up with a
teammate and then firing up the adoring crowd by pumping his arms.
And it seems his debut didn't go entirely unnoticed in North London, as some of the Arsenal faithful took to Twitter to voice their annoyance.
