Mesut Ozil is back in training with the Gunners superstar revealing he is close to recovering a recent attack of flu.
The German has been out since featuring in the 1-0 victory over West Brom.
But now, the 28-year-old is nearing a return, though he admitted he is not quite at 100 percent yet.
"Returning to Arsenal training ground after my flu. Not yet at 100 percent but I'm back," Ozil said on his Instagram page.
Arsene Wenger is unlikely to call upon Ozil for the FA Cup tie with Preston, but he could feature in some capacity against Swansea on January 14.
In theNo.11' absence, Arsenal have beat Crystal Palace 2-0 but then came unstuck in a 3-3 draw at Bournemouth.
Ozil's contractual dispute continues to rumble on though, with the player demanding a huge pay rise to commit his future to the Emirates.
