Arsenal new boy, Cohen Bramall, has pulled on an Arsenal shirt for the first time after being handed his Gunners debut in the Under-23 clash against Southampton.
Bramall was snapped up by the Gunners from non-league side, Hednesford Town, last week and was given the nod from the start on the south coast for the Premier League 2 clash.
This comes after the 20-year-old had been training with both the first-team and Steve Gatting's Under-23s side since signing for the north Londoners, where he has made a strong impression.
The youngster's story captured attention after it was revealed he had been made redundant from the Bentley factory he worked in just days before securing his move to the Premier League giants.
Bramall had been spotted by Arsenal scout, Brian McDermott, during a trial for Sheffield Wednesday in a game against Birmingham City.
Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger, believes his newest signing has plenty of potential.
"He is a young, promising left back who has a lack of experience at the top level but who has fantastic ingredients," said the Gunners boss after Bramall completed his move to the Emirates.
"He has tremendous pace, a good left foot, a great desire to do well. Overall, he’s a very exciting prospect."
