Watch Paris Saint Germaine's defender, Maxwell assist one VERY strange own goal to put his team top of Ligue 1 table

The look on the Adam Lang's teammate's face after his deflection lobs his own keeper is just priceless

"You make your own luck."
A saying Paris Saint-Germain's Maxwell certainly found to be true when he assisted one VERY strange own goal to put his side top of Ligue 1 table.
PSG were playing Dijon in a game that was locked at 0-0.
Given the quality of their expensively assembled side, you would expect the French champions to eventually break down the opposition and score a top drawer goal to open the scoring.
But that didn't really happen, as you can see in the images in this post.

Don't get me wrong - the goal is pretty special and sees the keeper stumbling backwards to try and get a hand on it as it lobs him from long range.
It's just that it most certainly was not Maxwell's intention when he kicked the ball.

You can quite clearly see him going to put in a cross, which deflects off Dijon defender Adam Lang and flies straight into the back of the net.
PSG went on to win the game 3-0 and Dijon are now third from bottom in the league, proving that on the flip side, when you're out of luck, you're very much out of luck.
Just take a look at Lang's teammate if you don't believe me…
