Shkodran Mustafi has vowed to give his all for the Arsenal cause.
He has formed a formidable partnership with Laurent Koscielny at the heart of the Gunners' defence and is yet to taste defeat in an Arsenal shirt.
That unbeaten run will inevitably eventually come to an end but, when it does, it won't be due to a lack of effort on Mustafi's part.
The 24-year-old German knows he is in a fortunate position to earn a living through football and says he will never take that - or Arsenal's devoted fanbase - for granted.
"You have to respect the fans a lot," the German told Goal. "They're not earning the money we are earning and pay to come into the stadium, sometimes away trips, plus transport.
"It shows you how much they love this club and you have to give them respect for that.
"What I can give them back is trying to give them everything back on the pitch. As long as I work for the club that they love, I'm just going to give everything, so I'm happy with myself and make people happy."
