Bournemouth winger, Jordon Ibe was reportedly the victim of a £25,000 robbery, days after gunmen attempted to do the same to West Ham's Andy Carroll.
The former Liverpool winger, who moved to Bournemouth in a £15million deal over the summer, had his car hit by a vehicle containing four men, who threatened Ibe with a knife before taking off with his watch on November 6, reports the Sun.
The incident reportedly occurred near Surrey Quays rail station in south east London.
Police are believed to be probing the incident.
Strangely, Ibe and his Cherries teammate, Jack Wilshere, have since received tweets from ex-Swansea and Wycombe striker, Leon Knight, alleging that he can return the watch for a price.

Knight wrote: “@JackWilshere holla at Jordan Ibe or whatever his name is. The ex Liverpool don playing for u. I can get back his iced out kettle" [rhyming slang for watch].
“Yo @IbeJordon It’s about that day in Surrey keys... where them boys stripped u down in the shopping centre.
“Can’t get back the watch for nothing tho. The roads don’t work like that. Road men look at it like, I’VE risked my freedom for that watch.”
The tweets have since been deleted, although some responses to them have not.

The incident happened days after the attempted robbery on Hammers hitman, Andy Carroll.
The Hammers star was targeted by two motorcyclists in Chigwell on November 2 after leaving the club's training ground.
Carroll, who was driving home alone when he was confronted, sped off with the bikers - including one brandishing a gun - in pursuit. He managed to lose them before returning to their Rush Green base to raise the alarm.
