Liverpool have improved more in Jurgen Klopp's first full season at Anfield than any of their rivals, includingtable-toppers, Chelsea, whose fortunes have changed drastically since Antonio Conte's arrival.
The Reds have nine more points this season than in the same fixtures last year - the only team to have done better is Watford, who are ten points better off comparatively.
Liverpool have 27 points from 12 games so far this season, leaving them one point behind Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.
Klopp’s side have lost only one match all season and are unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions, a run which stretches back to mid-August.

Last season, they only picked up 18 points from the same fixtures, having suffered defeats to Southampton, Swansea and Manchester United.
Watford, with 10 points, are the only Premier League team to have won more points this season when compared to matches against the same opponents from the previous season.
In the 10 matches Liverpool have played this season against teams who were playing in the Premier League last year, Liverpool have won more convincingly in three, turned two draws into victories and avenged a defeat against Swansea.

They have picked up points against Manchester United and Southampton - matches they lost last season - and only against Chelsea have they won less convincingly this season (2-1) than last year (3-1)
Antonio Conte’s side have enjoyed similar improvement since the Italian’s summer arrival, having picked up eight more points than in the same fixtures last season, while Manchester City and Arsenal are both six points better off.
Manchester United have won the same number of points, despite the arrival of Jose Mourinho's big-money signing, Paul Pogba, while Tottenham are actually one point worse off.
For the purposes of comparison, results against newly-promoted Burnley, Middlesbrough and Hull City correspond to last season’s respective fixtures against Newcastle United, Norwich City and Aston Villa.
